The Christiana Historical Society is dedicated
to preserving our local history.
Join CHS in 2026 as we Commemorate 175 years since the Christiana Resistance of 1851 plus celebrate 250 years of our Nation's History!
Individual Membership is $25 annually.
Your membership fee will help us continue to offer free public events such as the monthly Speaker Series.
Meetings are held on the last Thursday of every month.
Time: 6:30 pm
Location: Christiana Borough Building, 10 W. Slokom Ave., Christiana.
Every meeting begins with an introduction to Christiana Historical Society followed by an interesting lecture/presentation by local historians, artists, etc.
You don't need to be a member to attend,
but we encourage you to
become a member and support a part of the history!
Each meeting offers a special guest speaker for our Speaker Series.
We have an amazing line up of speakers for 2026!
Members & Attendees enjoy having the opportunity to learn about the various historical topics and participating in family fun events throughout the year!

The CHS Members enjoy getting together each month to learn about various historical topics from knowledgeable speakers, share information and enjoy meeting other individuals fascinated by our local history and surrounding areas.
Members or those that sign up for emails, will receive a monthly CHS Newsletter with upcoming events and information.
